Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Paper Title

This is your opportunity to attract the reader’s attention. Remember that readers are the potential authors who will cite your article. Identify the main issue of the paper. Begin with the subject of the paper. The title should be accurate, unambiguous, specific, and complete. Do not contain infrequently-used abbreviations.

The title of the paper should be in 18 pt bold Font Times New Roman and be centered. The title should have 0 pts space above and 12 pts below.

2. Authors Name and Affiliations

Write Author(s) names without a title and professional positions such as Prof, Dr, Production Manager, etc. Do not abbreviate your last/family name. Always give your First and Last names. Write clear affiliation of all Authors. Affiliation includes a name of department/unit, (faculty), a name of university, address, country. Please indicate Corresponding Author (include email address) by adding an asterisk (*) in superscript behind the name.

Author names should be in 11 pt Font Times New Roman with 6 pts above and 12 pts below. Author addresses are superscripted by numerals and centered over both columns of manuscripts. Author affiliations University name / institution / research study / company should be in 11 pt Font Times New Roman.

Present/permanent address. If an author has moved since the work described in the article was done, or was visiting at the time, a 'Present address' (or 'Permanent address') may be indicated as a footnote to that author's name. The address at which the author did the work must be retained as the main, affiliation address.start by adding an asterisk (*) and then email, font Times New Roman 11 pt.

3. Abstract

This is an example for Jurnal Akuntansi, Ekonomi, dan Manajemen Bisnis. Papers. Use a two-column format in A4 paper (210297mm). The title and author information should be centered across both columns on the first page. Dimensions for the paper are specified as the following: Text height (245mm), Text width (174), column width (83 mm), Columnsep (8mm), Oddsidemargin (18mm), Top margin (28mm), Bottom margin (24mm). Your paper should begin with an abstract of about 100-150 words.

4. Introduction

In Introduction, Authors should state the objectives of the work at the end of introduction section. Before the objective, Authors should provide an adequate background, and very short literature survey in order to record the existing solutions/method, to show which is the best of previous researches, to show the main limitation of the previous researches, to show what do you hope to achieve (to solve the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the paper. Avoid a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

To prepare your paper, use directly this template and simply replace this text by your text.  These instructions are to be followed strictly, and it is strongly advised to use the styles indicated in this document between square brackets. It is strongly advised NOT to use formatting or styles in your paper different from the ones mentioned here.

The page size will be in A4 (210 x 297 mm). Left margin 30mm, Right Margin 2mm, Top Margin 20mm and Bottom Margin: 20mm. Please make sure that you do not exceed the indicated type area.

The structure of manuscripts should follow the following order; title, authors, affiliations, abstract, keywords, main text, (acknowledgement), (appendix), (nomenclature), references. The items with parentheses are not mandatory.

Do NOT include page numbers. Do NOT add Headers or Footers. Prescribed font is Times New Roman, 10 points, with an single line spacing. However, if your text contains complicated mathematical expressions or chemical formulas, you may need to increase the line spacing. Running text should be justified.

 5. General Instructions

Each paper is allocated from 6 (six) to 15 (fifteen) pages including figures. The PDF files will appear on the website directly as received.

6. Style Guidelines and Topics

All manuscripts must be single-spaced, in the specified two-column format. The font size should be 10 points. 

References and citations should follow the APA (Autor, date) System Convention (see the References section). As example you may consider the citation (Smith, 1998). Besides that, all references should be cited in the text. No numbers with or without brackets should be used to cite or to list the references.

Original contributions are solicited on topics covered under broad areas of accounting, economy, and business management.

7. Conclusions

All manuscripts must be received by the publishing house no later than 3 Months before publication date, in order to be included in the review processes of the Jurnal Akuntansi, Ekonomi, dan Manajemen Bisnis Website. 

8. Acknowledgment

The following is an example of an acknowledgment. (Please note that financial support should be acknowledged in the unnumbered footnote on the title page). The authors gratefully acknowledge the contributions of Sumarto and Tarmijan for their work on the original version of this document.

9. References

References are important to the reader; therefore, each citation must be complete and correct. There is no editorial check on references; therefore, an incomplete or wrong reference will be published unless caught by a reviewer or discusser and will detract from the authority and value of the paper. References should be readily available publications.

List only one reference per reference number. If a reference is available from two sources, each should be listed as a separate reference. Give all authors' names; do not use et al.
